Since their phenomenal breakthrough in 2009 with their major label debut, I and Love and You, the band has consistently performed impressively on the charts with each album release. Their 2016 effort, True Sadness, topped Billboards Folk and Rock charts and peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200. The album spawned their biggest hit single, “Ain’t No Man,” which topped the Alternative Adult Airplay chart. The album also earned the band their third Grammy nomination. Three years later, The Avett Brothers released their latest album, Close Than Together, spawning the hit singles “High Steppin” and “Tell the Truth.”
