The son of veteran country sensation Rhett Akins, Thomas Rhett has carved up a superstar career of his own since his breakthrough in 2012. He became a household name with the beloved Grammy-nominated smash hit "Die a Happy Man." Thomas Rhett is no stranger to the road. Over the years, he has toured with heavyweights like Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, and Brett Eldredge, and has packed out his own headlining arena tours. And now, Thomas Rhett is returning to the road with the highly anticipated Better In Boots Tour.

Kickstarting in June, the trek will bring the country star’s energy-fueled show and light up top venues across North America with a cascade of nearly two dozen #1 Billboard Country Airplay chart hits. Thomas Rhett will be making his way to 30 cities across the continent, in states including Wisconsin, New York, Virginia, Florida and Georgia. “Wind Up Missin’ You” hitmaker Tucker Wetmore will offer support throughout the tour, while “Austin” singer Dasha will also light up the stage at the iconic Alpine Valley Music Theatre on Saturday 9th August 2025.

The North American trek follows Thomas Rhett’s seventh album About a Woman, which landed in August. The record boasts “Don’t Wanna Dance,” which inserts Whitney Houston’s fan favorite track “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me),” as well as songs like “Fool,” “Can’t Love You Anymore” and “Overdrive,” which take inspiration from a range of artists like The Oak Ridge Boys, Alan Jackson and The Rolling Stones.

Five-time Grammy nominee Thomas Rhett recently told Billboard about another track from the record, “Church,” which pays homage to fellow country all-star Eric Church’s music, as well as Thomas Rhett’s own love story with his beloved wife, Lauren. “This is Lauren’s favorite on the album, because when we were in high school, I bought [Church’s] Carolina record, which was his second album,” Thomas Rhett said.
